How do residents get access?

During the pilot, we use a simple upload of non-personally identifiable info (like phone number and unit number) to confirm residency. This ensures only verified residents can view and redeem perks.

How do redemptions work?

Local businesses add perks directly in their LocalPerk dashboard. They create a discount code in their own POS system and paste it into the perk setup. When a resident shows the code in person, they get the discount — no integrations required.

Do we have to coordinate with merchants?

Yes — but we make it easier. LocalPerk gives you ready-to-send outreach scripts and merchant contact info so you can reach out quickly and on-message. We recommend an in-person follow-up to build the relationship and close the loop.

How much time does this take to manage?
